Campania Summer Experience – English

Menamò news company is launching a contest for amateur videomakers: “Campania Summer Experience.”

Every year, thousands of tourists from all over the world, in any season, are ready to set off for one of the most beautiful destinations in the South of Italy: the Campania region. Rich in history, it roots itself in a legendary past dating back thousands of years. It is a land of welcome and hospitality, with monuments, museums, tourist destinations both in the mountains and by the sea, not to mention the lakes and rivers that flow abundantly through fertile lands. Moreover, it is the birthplace of the Mediterranean diet, a paradigm of healthy eating and longevity worldwide. Anthropogenic and natural

landscapes blend together in a combination that ranks among the top ten regions to visit, especially in summer when the blue of the sea embraces the azure sky.

Rules and Regulations

The contest is open to tourists from all corners of the Earth who have decided to spend their holidays in Campania.

Residents of the region can also participate.

The video’s author must be at least 16 years old. If minors are participating, parental or guardian consent is required (see attachment b).

The video can be created by individuals or groups.

The duration must be a maximum of 3 minutes. Be cautious regarding copyright for music and songs!

Participants must pay a symbolic fee of €5.00 to the bank account belonging to the Dunyaa social promotion association, using the following bank coordinates: IT30B0306909606100000190963.

The video must be submitted electronically to the email address redazione@menamo.it, along with proof of payment of the €5.00 fee and the completed personal information form (attachment A), no later than midnight on September 1, 2023.

For short films featuring identifiable faces (close-ups or generally recognizable individuals), the producer of the competing work must obtain a

signed release form from the individuals portrayed, granting permission for the use of their images. Please note that public officials or individuals known to the public can be filmed without a release form.

The short films must include the title and the name of the author(s) and/or the collective.

Works that do not strictly comply with all the above requirements will be excluded.

The contest accepts original short films created with any technique, recording device, and narrative style.

Ranking The videos received at the above-mentioned email address will be evaluated by the Menamò editorial staff, who will create an initial ranking. The second screening will be conducted by an expert jury composed of communication professionals, marketing experts, photographers, and professional videomakers. In the final phase, the audience will take center stage. The top ten videos in the ranking will be published on social channels for seven days, from October 20 until 7:00 p.m. on October 27, 2023. The winners will be determined based on the number of likes received.

Prizes Artecard will be awarded, granting free access to the museums of the Campania region.
